NEW CASSEL, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A 34-year-old man was stabbed during a brawl inside a Nassau County deli, police said Wednesday.
The victim was stabbed in the lower left abdomen and taken to the hospital around 10:12 p.m. Tuesday after a brawl broke out at the Westbury Deli in New Cassel.
An investigation led to the arrest of Santos Alexander Andrade Urias, also 34, near the intersection of Broadway and Sylvester Street, who was found with a severe laceration to his right index finger.
Urias was charged with first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
