Discussing her hectic work, travel, and workout schedule in a new interview with People, Megan Thee Stallion explains that she is "a big believer in setting boundaries and carving out rest days to preserve [her] mental health and avoid burnout."
During days off, Megan says, "I love to binge my favorite shows, spend time with my dogs, and hang out with my friends." Adding, "It’s just so relaxing and therapeutic to give your body a break, have some balance, and allow yourself the space to reset and recharge."
The 28-year-old rapper who just entered into a partnership with Planet Fitness, understands how physical and mental health "go hand-in-hand" -- "it’s a huge priority for me," she says. "For such a long time, our society had a negative stigma around mental health, so I’m committed to doing my part to normalize the conversation and provide people with the right resources to get the necessary help," she adds.
All profits from co-branded merch, including sweatshirts that proudly declare 'Big Fitness Energy™ for Everybody (-ody-ody),' hats, water bottles emblazoned with ‘Real Hot Girl Fit’, and more, will benefit Megan's non-profit organization, The Pete & Thomas Foundation, founded with a focus on assisting underserved communities in her hometown of Houston, TX, and around the world through education, housing, health, and wellness.
