UNIONDALE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) – Two men used a U-Haul truck to steal an ATM from a Marriott hotel on Long Island early Tuesday, police said.
A worker discovered the ATM missing from a hallway at the Long Island Marriott on James Doolittle Boulevard in Uniondale, Nassau County police said.
According to police, an investigation revealed that the men drove up to the hotel in the U-Haul truck just before 4 a.m.
The duo entered the hotel through an unsecured door while pushing a hand truck.
They then disconnected the ATM machine and rolled it out of the hotel with the hand cart, according to police.
The ATM had an unknown amount of money in it, police said.
Images of the suspects have not yet been released.
