The gluten free, vegan THC gummies are shaped like an ear with a cartoonish bite mark taken out of it — a reference to the infamous 1997 boxing match in which Tyson bit off a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear.

Blood flows down his arm and chest as Evander Holyfield (R) has his ear examined by the ringside doctor 28 June 1997 during his WBA heavyweight championship fight against Mike Tyson at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Holyfield won by disqualification in the the third round after Tyson bit him.

The 56-year-old former boxer is the co-founder of Tyson 2.0, a cannabis business that sells pre-rolled joints, flower and edibles in hundreds of stores nationwide.

Tyson said he used marijuana during his boxing career to “relax his body and focus his mind,” which made breaking into the cannabis industry a natural fit for him.

“Cannabis has always played an important role in my life,” wrote Tyson on the company’s website. “Cannabis has changed me for the good both mentally and physically, and I want to share that gift with others who are also seeking relief.”

Tyson will be at the Cannabist in Deptford from 12 to 1 p.m., Zen Leaf Dispensary in Neptune Township from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and the Lodi branch of Apothecarium from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Zen Leaf will be raffling off a signed boxing glove to promote the event, and anyone who spends over $200 at Apothecarium in the day leading up to the meet-and-greet will get to skip the line.
