HOWELL, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- The body of a 17-year-old boy was found in a wooded area in New Jersey on Monday morning, authorities said.
The boy's body was found at approximately 9:30 a.m. off of Hurley Pond Road in Howell, according to officials.
Howell police deployed a drone, ATVs, K9s, and personnel on Sunday in the search for the teen, and were searching for a "person who has implied harming themself."
According to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, the teen left his home on Carmerville Road in Wall at about 3:45 p.m, on Sunday shortly before officials located the vehicle at an Allaire State Park access point.
Officials added that there will be no further updates regarding this case.
