JACKSON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Multiple people were injured by a malfunctioning ride at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson on Thursday.

Emergency responders rushed to the park around 7:30 p.m., CBS reported.
The park told NBC New York that 12 people were hospitalized with minor injuries in the accident, but neither the park nor local police have responded to 1010 WINS’ request for comment.
It is not yet clear which ride malfunctioned and what caused the accident.
