NEWARK, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Authorities discovered two bodies floating in the Passaic River in Newark two days in a row, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Newark firefighters recovered the body of a dead woman near Clay Street around 4:19 p.m. on Tuesday.
The next day, firefighters, municipal workers and police recovered the body of a man around 5 p.m.
The circumstances of their deaths are not yet clear, and each of the incidents are under investigation.
