NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 15-year-old boy was shot and wounded on a busy A train in Queens during Monday’s evening rush, police said as they searched for a suspect.
The NYPD released images Tuesday of a male wanted for assault in the shooting in Ozone Park.
The teen victim was shot in the neck and back just after 6 p.m. on a train near the 80th Street station.
Responding officers rushed him in critical condition to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was stabilized. No other injuries were reported.

The shooting happened during a fight aboard a crowded, Manhattan-bound train, sending riders ducking for cover, witnesses said.
“We all jumped to the floor and stayed below, and the door man opened the doors up, and some people ran out,” said a witness, Junior White.
Two teenage persons of interest were questioned Monday night and later released by the NYPD.
As many as three people are being sought by police in connection with the shooting.
