NJ man arrested for beating girlfriend, 25, to death: police

PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Authorities arrested a man accused of beating his girlfriend to death in New Jersey earlier this week.

Just before 2 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 2, the Pleasantville Police responded a 911 call regarding an unresponsive female at 132 Edgewater Ave. in Pleasantville.

The unresponsive woman was transported to the Atlantic City Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

She was later identified as Leslianet Quintana-Bentancourt, 25, of Pleasantville.

An investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit revealed that Quintana-Bentancourt died due to multiple blunt force injuries.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested Quintana-Betancourt’s live-in boyfriend, Boris Lainez-Rosales, 26, in connection with her death.

Lainez-Rosales was charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence.
