PASSAIC, N.J. (WCBS 880) — A 58-year-old Passaic man was arrested in Dallas Thursday and charged with sexually assaulting two children, County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said Friday.
Luis Castillo-Galindo is charged with one count of second degree sexual assault, two counts of second degree endangering the welfare of a child and one count of third degree aggravated criminal sexual contact.
Valdes said authorities began investigating in April after a 15-year-old and a 13-year-old reported they were sexually assaulted by Castillo-Galindo at their home when they were 13 to 14 and 11 to 12.
The County Prosecutor's Office interviewed the children and witnesses multiple times, she said.
The prosecutor said her office is requesting Castillo-Galindo be held in Passaic County Jail, while awaiting a detention motion hearing next week.
