EVESHAM, N.J. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A New Jersey man was arrested this week after a Burlington customer caught him recording them on a toilet at the department store, police said Thursday.

The arrest stems from a call police got Sunday from the Burlington on Route 73 in Evesham.

A man told police he was in the public restroom when he noticed someone holding a cell phone under the stall to record him.

Cops investigated and arrested David Reyes, 19, who they believe was “recording the victim using the bathroom for his own sexual gratification.”

He was charged with third-degree invasion of privacy and released pending a court appearance.

Police said the investigation is ongoing. They asked anyone with information to contact the Evesham Police Department at 856-983-1116, or the confidential tip line at 856-983-4699. Tips can also be emailed to MahanD@eveshampd.org, or sent by texting ETPDTIP to 847411.
