NJ son, 44, arrested for killing father, 75, during argument

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A 44-year-old man was charged for allegedly killing his father early Friday morning in Winslow Township, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Police were called to Joseph Mastranduono Sr.'s home over reports of a violent dispute with his son and namesake Joseph Mastranduono Jr. around 3:13 a.m.


When law enforcement arrived at the home around 4:34 a.m., they found the elder Mastranduono unresponsive.

Emergency responders rushed him to Jefferson Washington Township Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Mastranduono Jr. is currently hospitalized, but the state plans to transfer him to Camden County Correctional Facility when he's released.

He faces charges for aggravated manslaughter.
