
READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The New Jersey State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a driver who shot at a tractor-trailer while driving on I-78 on Friday in a suspected road rage incident.
At 2:50 p.m. on Friday, near milepost 23.6 on I-78, in Readington Township, the suspect pulled up next to a trailer-tractor driver and at least one shot was fired from the passenger side window, police said.
The shot struck the engine compartment of the tractor trailer, disabling it, cops said.
Officials said that the suspect was driving a white Dodge Ram pickup truck with dual rear tires and black lettering that shows business and DOT lettering on the passenger side.

The truck is depicted in photos released by the NJSP.
