NEWARK, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A New Jersey woman has been arrested for allegedly producing and distributing images of child sexual abuse, federal prosecutors say.
Dominique Saczawa, 31, of Sparta, was charged with one count of production of child pornography, one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of advertisement of child pornography on Tuesday, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey said.
Saczawa is accused of using a "web-based application" last month to share photos and videos that showed a child being sexually assaulted, the attorney's office said.
Saczawa also produced videos and photos of a child engaged in "sexually explicit conduct," sent the files to people through the application and asked others to share child porn as well, according to prosecutors.
The New Jersey resident could face up to 30 years in prison if she is convicted, as well as a $250,000 fine, prosecutors said.
Her attorney information wasn't immediately available Thursday.
