NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A Pennsylvania man was charged on Monday after allegedly making violent antisemitic and Islamophobic threats to eight people in New Jersey, according to prosecutors.

Yaniv Gola, 50, was charged with information on eight counts of interstate communication of threats, United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero announced.

Between August 2022 and November 2023, Gola allegedly used a voice over internet service to hide his phone number and make threatening calls to victims.

According to the indictment, Gola allegedly called eight people, and in some calls, threatened to injure, rape and kill them.

On one of the calls, Gola allegedly said to a victim, “You f***ing Jew, now I know where you are. I’m going to kill all you Jews … I’m going down to [victim’s business location] to kill you,” according to court documents.

In another call, Gola said, “I want to put a bullet in your head … You f***ing Muslims.”

In the most recent call, Gola threatened another victim and said, “You’re Jewish, I’m from Hamas. You’re animals and pigs … If you don’t leave that place, we’re going to blow you up.”

If convicted, Gola faces a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison, three years of supervised release, a $2 million fine, and an $800 special assessment, according to prosecutors.
