Joe Biden apparent winner in Georgia, while Trump wins North Carolina

1010 WINS (NEW YORK) -- President-elect Joe Biden is the apparent winner in Georgia, NBC News projected Friday afternoon.

The state which hadn't voted for a Democrat for president in almost 30 years.

The ballots in Georgia are still subject to a recount by hand.

President Donald Trump is the projected winner of North Carolina, NBC News also projected. That win gets Trump 15 electoral votes.

Biden now has 306 Electoral College votes while Trump has 232.
