NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Donald Trump won’t be allowed back on Twitter, even if he runs for president again in 2024, the company’s chief financial officer said Wednesday.

“When you're removed from the platform, you're removed from the platform,” Twitter CFO Ned Segal told CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”

"Remember, our policies are designed to make sure that people are not inciting violence," Segal said.

Segal said the former president “was removed when he was president, and there'd be no difference for anybody who's a public official once they've been removed from the service.”

Trump’s Twitter account was permanently suspended back on Jan. 8 after the company found his posts during the Capitol siege violated its rules and risked “further incitement of violence.”
