NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Seven French bulldog puppies were stolen from a home in Shirley early Sunday morning, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

Two six-month-old dogs and five one-month-old dogs were stolen from a detached building next to a house in Shirley on Concord Road near Orchard Street around 3:15 a.m., officials said.
The dogs’ owner reportedly slept through the robbery in a nearby home.
Police are unsure whether it was one person or multiple people who stole the puppies, and an investigation into the burglary is ongoing.
