NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a city employee on Friday morning following a violent dispute with a family member in the Bronx.
Officials arrested 51-year-old Yvette Diaz, an NYPD school safety agent at approximately 8:38 a.m. in the Tremont neighborhood.
According to police, Diaz was involved in an argument with a female family member when she began yelling started grabbing items.
Diaz then used a closed fist to punch her relative on left side of her face.
She faces an assault charge, officials said.
Authorities did not disclose what the relation between the women.
