LAKE GROVE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A 7-year-old boy has died days after a crash injured him and seven other people in Lake Grove on Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk County Police said.
Police said Harrison Frisenda died Friday after a crash critically injured him and Katelyn Gaynor, 3, as their 2020 Chevrolet Traverse attempted to make a left turn from Middle Country Road into a parking lot on the south side of the street and struck a 2018 Nissan Rogue.
Andreia Gaynor, 40, the driver of the Traverse, and three other children inside the vehicle, ages 13, 10 and 3, were all transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
The Rogue driver, Sungeethah Subramaniam, 22, was also transported to the same hospital with non-life-threatening injures.
