NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Brooklyn resident was arrested for allegedly fatally shooting a 21-year-old man and injuring two other people at a Fourth of July party on Long Island last year, police said Thursday.
Thomas Massenburg, 20, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder on Thursday, Nassau County police said in a press release.
Police say Massenburg fatally shot Rashawn Cummings, 21, of Hempstead, at a party in North Massapequa around 11 p.m. last July 4.
Massenburg is also accused of shooting two other male victims, both of whom were listed in stable condition after the incident, police said.
His attorney information wasn't immediately available Thursday.
