NORTH WOODMERE N.Y. (1010 WINS) — Nassau County officials are investigating after a crew of burglars stole keys from a Long Island home then took off in two cars early Tuesday morning.
According to detectives, at 3:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, three unknown suspects entered a residential home located on Jay Court in North Woodmere through a rear door.
The suspects took two sets of car keys from inside of the home and entered two of the victim's vehicles that were parked in the driveway, police said.
There was an additional person inside of a dark colored SUV parked outside of the residence.
The suspects left the scene in two stolen vehicles and in the SUV, traveling westbound on Jay Court toward Cedarhurst Street.
No description of the four suspects was released by police at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
