BRENTWOOD, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- A man was arrested on Long Island
for exposing himself to teen girls on multiple occasions and asking them if they wanted a ride earlier this month, authorities said Wednesday.
The first incident happened on at approximately 6:35 a.m. on Oct. 5, officials said.
According to police, 19-year-old Inmar Escalante Diaz was sitting in his 2007 Acura on Columbus Avenue in Brentwood when he exposed himself to a teenage girl and asked her if she wanted a ride to school.
He allegedly committed similar acts at about 6:45 a.m. on Oct. 19 on Hancock Street and on Oct. 24 at approximately 6:50 a.m. on Pine Aire Drive.
Detectives located Escalante Diaz in his vehicle on Motor Parkway in Central Islip at 4:18 p.m. on Oct. 25.
Escalante Diaz was charged with three counts of public lewdness and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 25.
The investigation is ongoing.
