UNIONDALE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — Nassau County officers arrested a homeless man on Monday for groping a woman in July, and he was allegedly found with multiple stolen credit cards.
According to detectives, Delano Brathwaite, 27, was at the Stop & Shop located at 2160 Merrick Mall in Merrick on Monday, July 8 when he forcibly touched a 36-year-old woman before fleeing the store in an unknown direction.
After an investigation, Brathwaite was located on Monday, Oct. 14, in Uniondale and placed under arrest without further incident.
Brathwaite was also found to be in possession of several credit cards that did not belong to him.
Delano Brathwaite was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, and forcible touching and was arraigned on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
