NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- New York state lawmakers have reached an agreement on a bill that would legalize recreational marijuana, according to a report.
State Senate Finance Committee Chair Liz Krueger on Wednesday told Bloomberg a "three-way agreement has been reached" on tentative legislation, adding that "bill drafting is in the process of finishing a bill that we all have said we support."
The bill would legalize recreational marijuana for ages 21 and up, according to the outlet.
Krueger "said she expects lawmakers to vote on the measure as soon as next week, outside of the budget," the outlet reported.
