WESTBURY, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- A 20-year-old woman and a teen girl were charged after a security guard at a Long Island Dave & Busters was slashed on Monday, authorities said.
It happened at 12:10 a.m. at the Dave & Busters located at 1504 Old Country Road in Westbury.
According to Detectives, Naila Williams, 20, and a 14-year-old girl were found to be hiding in an electrical closet of the Dave & Busters.
When the security guard, 60, confronted them, Williams brandished a silver box cutter and began to swing it multiple times, striking the victim in the left hand causing a laceration.
The guard was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At about 1:15 a.m., arriving officers placed both suspects under arrest.
Each person faces burglary, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and menacing charges.
Williams, a Manhattan resident, is also charged with criminal facilitation.
They were both arraigned on Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.
