OCEANSIDE, N.Y. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A shoplifter stuffed tuna fish and potato chips into her pockets and then tried to bite a worker while fleeing a Long Island convenience store on Sunday, Nassau County police said.

The robbery suspect, who is believed to be in her 30s, walked into the All-in-1 Convenience Store on Merrick Road in Oceanside around 1 p.m.


She put multiple cans of tuna and bags of chips into her coat pockets, police said.

As she was leaving the store, she encountered a worker, who she pushed out of the way and tried to bite, according to cops.

She was last seen fleeing westbound on Merrick Road towards Rockville Center, police said.
