NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Monday released surveillance video of a man wanted in connection with a string of bike thefts that occurred in a Bronx neighborhood within a week.
The latest incident happened on February 5, between 1 and 5 a.m., according to officials.
The unidentified man entered a garage on a residential property located in the vicinity of 234th Street and Webster Avenue in Woodlawn Heights by opening an unlocked door to gain entry.
Once inside, he removed a bicycle and various tools before fleeing in an unknown direction, officials said.
Authorities said between January 29, and January 30, the same man entered a garage on residential properties located in the vicinity of 238th Street and Kepler Avenue, and 235th Street and Martha Avenue in Woodlawn Heights by breaking glass or opening an unlocked door to gain entry.
Once inside, he removed a bicycle and an e-bike from the locations before fleeing in an unknown direction, according to police.
Between January 27, and January 28, the suspect entered a garage on a residential property located in the vicinity of 241st Street and Katonah Avenue also in Woodlawn Heights by opening an unlocked door to gain entry, according to the NYPD.
Once inside, he removed an e-bike before fleeing in an unknown direction.
There were no injuries reported as a result of any of the incidents, officials said.
