NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Flash Flood Warning continues for portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, including New York City, Brooklyn, portions of Queens and Staten Island.

The Flash Flood Warning is expected to last through late Saturday night —until 2 a.m. Sunday, according to Accuweather.

"A moist environment could result in heavy rain producing thunderstorms this afternoon into Saturday night," the National Weather Service reports. "With recent heavy rainfall, it will not take much additional rain to result in flash flooding. The greatest risk looks to be this afternoon through Saturday afternoon."

Saturday is set to be cloudy and cooler, with a high of 75. Flooding could be possible, especially in some Jersey suburbs.

Saturday night will be mostly cloudy and humid, with a shower or two and low of 69 degrees, AccuWeather says.

The clouds will break for some sun on Sunday, with a stray shower or thunderstorm in spots and a high of 80 degrees.

Monday should be humid and warmer, with clouds, some sun, an afternoon thunderstorm and a high of 86 degrees.
