NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Summer-like temperatures will warm up the Tri-State area this weekend ahead of even hotter conditions next week.
Highs have mainly stuck to the 60s so far this month, but they’ll surge to the 80s this weekend and into the 90s by next week, according to AccuWeather.
Friday is a sunny, breezy and overall pleasant day, with a high of around 67 in Central Park.

The warmup begins Saturday, when the high will be about 78, and continues Sunday, when it'll jump to around 86 in the park.
Factor in plenty of sun, and it’s shaping up to be a near picture-perfect weekend for the New York City area.
Next week, highs will be around 80 in the city on Monday. They are expected to surpass 90 on both Tuesday and Wednesday, with RealFeels towards 95.
