NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A trio of winter storms will hit New York City this week, including a storm Tuesday night that could bring up to 4 inches of snow to the five boroughs.
The triple whammy will follow Saturday night’s storm, which dropped 3.1 inches of snow on Central Park and over 4 inches on parts of Queens.

Tuesday will be brisk and cold before the snow arrives late in the day, according to AccuWeather. Highs will be in the mid-30s.
The snow is set to continue into Tuesday night. A general 2-4 inches is forecasted across most of the area, with lesser amounts of a coating up to 1-2 inches predicted for the northern suburbs.

Flurries may linger into Wednesday morning before the snow moves out for a mostly cloudy day. The high will be 35.
The second round of snow, sleet and freezing rain will move in Wednesday night. The changeover from snow to rain is expected over the course of the overnight hours.

The rain will continue into Thursday morning, then clouds may break for some sun Thursday afternoon. The high will be 42.
While it will be dry and sunny on Friday, it will also be colder, with highs dropping back to the mid-30s.
The third storm system will hit this weekend, with a wintry mix expected Saturday. The track of that storm will become clearer in the days ahead.
