NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A thunderstorm expected to move through the tri-state Wednesday night could contain downpours and bring damaging wind gusts and flooding to the area.

Wednesday afternoon is set to be breezy, humid and partly sunny, with a high of 86 degrees and RealFeels in the low 90s, according to AccuWeather.
A thunderstorm, however, is slated to move from the northern Jersey and Hudson Valley suburbs toward the city Wednesday evening, with the temperature expected to dip to around 70 degrees.
The storm will likely be followed by a few more showers, so flooding in poor drainage areas will be possible.

Thursday and Friday should be cloudy and humid, with a few showers, a thunderstorm apiece and a high of 78 degrees on both days, AccuWeather says.
The clouds will break for some sunshine on Saturday, which is set to be humid, with a high of 80 degrees.
