NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A Westchester man previously charged with dumping a 15-year-old boy’s body is now charged with sexually abusing the same teen, Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace announced Saturday.

Hugo Horacio Perez-Gabriel, 32, was first charged with concealment of a human corpse on Feb. 7 in connection to the dumping of the teen’s body in New Rochelle.

The corpse was discovered one day before Perez-Gabriel’s arrest on the sidewalk near Charles Street and Washington Avenue. In addition to Perez-Gabirel, prosecutors said a 16-year-old was charged in the incident.

Perez-Gabriel was arraigned Saturday on a felony complaint charging him with two counts each of disseminating indecent material to minors, possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child and use of a child in a sexual performance.

According to the felony complaint, he used WhatsApp to request sexual material from the teen boy in early February, and the underage New Rochelle resident sent him two videos engaging in a sexual performance.

Prosecutors confirmed the deceased teen is the same victim who allegedly communicated with Perez-Gabriel on WhatsApp.

At his arraignment, Judge Tamika Coverdale remanded Perez-Gabriel to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Correction.

The cause of the teen’s death is still under investigation.

“The allegations in this complaint are extremely disturbing. The fact that this same defendant was previously charged in connection with the dumping of a 15-year-old boy’s corpse makes this case all the more horrific,” Cacace said. “My office is working around the clock to find out what happened to this boy, and I am committed to delivering justice to his family.”
