NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Stickers promoting white supremacist messages have been found in cities and towns across Westchester County in recent weeks, authorities said Friday.

The stickers, which showed support for white nationalist and white supremacist groups, were found in public spaces in New Rochelle, Scarsdale, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, White Plains and Yorktown, according to authorities.

Westchester County DA Miriam Rocah joined police chiefs and commissioners in a statement Friday about their ongoing investigation.

"These stickers were found in areas that are home to or frequented by racial and ethnic minorities," the joint statement says. "We strongly condemn these actions to the extent that they are intended to intimidate and cause fear in our communities."

The DA released images of two people being sought in connection with one incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Sleepy Hollow Police detectives at (914) 631-0300.
