NEWARK, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A worker died after falling from scaffolding inside the Prudential Tower in Newark Thursday morning, officials said.
Just before 11 a.m., the unidentified man was performing repairs on the 5th floor of the 20-story office building located at 655 Broad Street when he fell 20 feet, according to a Newark police spokeswoman.
Responding officials found the man unresponsive and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing, according to authorities.
