Boomer met with some of New York’s Bravest on Wednesday at a Engine 7, Ladder 1 right near the WFAN Studios, and that led to a discussion of whether or not they need a station Dalmatian.
“I met one of the deputy chiefs, Michael Ajello, so maybe we can call him, ask him if he wants a Dalmatian for the station?” Boomer asked.
The boys then had some fun trying to pronounce Michael’s name before wondering if he might take a rescue dog, which would make our program director, Spike Eskin, happy. Gio then asked Al if he knows any Dalmatian rescues considering he got Whimsy from a Greyhound rescue, and, well…
“I don’t know about that, but if they’re looking for a Greyhound…” Al said, intimating that Whimsy’s time in Bradley Beach is not going well?

Leave it to Eddie and Gio to be sympathetic.
“We’ll just put some spots on her with some paint and call it a day!” Eddie laughed.
Gio’s response?
“That’ll be the skinniest Dalmatian ever! Imagine Al sitting there painting Whimsy, ready to make her a rescue Dalmatian?”
Boomer says there's no way Al would ever give Whimsy up, but...
