Dalvin Cook will meet with the Jets this weekend, and the running back told NFL Network’s Good Morning Football that there is a good chance he will be visiting his future team.
When asked what the chances are that he signs with the Jets, Cook replied, “Pretty high, man.”
“Just a great vibe, man,” Cook said when asked what he’s looking for on his visit. “Just getting around people that want to love on Dalvin Cook, that want to share that value that I want. And just trying to get around guys that want to win. I want to bring something different to the table and that’s being Dalvin Cook.”
Cook also spoke highly of playing for the rival Dolphins.
“Playing in my hometown would mean so much for me, my community, my family, just everything around it,” Cook said. “It’s a Cinderella story. Something that would bring so much joy to the city, and I know what I could bring to the city. It would be big for the city and myself.”
Still, it seems as if signs are pointing to Cook landing with the Jets, where he will take a physical during his visit, and perhaps once he arrives, he won’t leave.
