The Giants looked like they were about to fall behind big to the heavily favored Dolphins in the waning minutes of the first half, but instead, they matched a franchise record thanks to Jason Pinnock.

On a 3rd-and-goal for Miami from the 4-yard line, Bobby Okereke tipped a Tua Tagovailoa pass that deflected right into the lap of Pinnock, who returned the interception 102 yards to the house for a pick six that turned a potential 21-3 deficit into a 14-10 score.

Tagovailoa had tried to fit the pass into a tight window to Jaylen Waddle, but Okereke got a hand on it, and Pinnock did the rest with his legs, matching the Giants all-time record for longest pick six, matching Erich Barnes’ 102-yard pick six against the Cowboys way back in 1961.

The score was also the Giants’ first time finding the end zone in the first half this season.
