Gio tried to read a Giants-related post on X (formerly known as Twitter) Thursday morning, but was unable to, eventually discovering that the post included Kayvon Thibodeaux, who had blocked him on the social media site.
“I’m confused as to why,” Gio said.
Boomer noted that Gio was critical of Thibodeaux’s play early in the season, before he and the Giants defense seemed to turn things around.
“Really? Was I?” Gio said. “We talked about how he was a little disappointing, for sure, and that he wasn’t Myles Garrett. But was he driving and listening to us? Did one of these reels get to him?”
No hard feelings, but Gio was surprised to see that the Giants former top draft pick had blocked him at some point this season.
“It just was strange. I’m not in any way hurt by it. I think it’s funny,” Gio said. “You end up getting blocked, and you’re like ‘What? How the hell did that happen?’”
