It sure seemed like Jermaine Johnson was pleased with being taken by the Jets on Thursday night.
After waiting longer than many expected, New York traded up to grab the Florida State edge rusher at 26th overall, and shortly after Johnson took the stage and posed for pictures with commissioner Roger Goodell, he quickly made his way to the section of Jets fans on site in Las Vegas applauding the pick.

In his first act as a Jet, Johnson immersed himself in the sea of green, posed for pictures around the raucous crowd, and helped lead a “J-E-T-S!” chant with the delighted fans.
Johnson looked just as delighted as the faces in the crowd.
