The Jets turned up the troll meter to the max during their blowout win of the Dolphins on Sunday.
As Gang Green put the hurting on Miami to snap their extended losing streak against divisional rivals, they also made sure to flash some of the Dolphins receivers’ signature celebrations, enjoying every bit of their first home win of the season.
Sauce Gardner started the movement after his first career interception, picking off Skylar Thompson and flashing two fingers for the peace sign, exactly like Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill does when he dusts defenders for a touchdown.
Later in the game, running back Michael Carter punched in a touchdown run from one yard out to put the Jets ahead 25-17 with 9:22 left in the fourth quarter, and mimicked Jaylen Waddle’s penguin waddle dance that he does every time he finds the end zone.
Miami had no answer for the trash talk, falling 40-17.
