Bartolo Colon is reportedly calling it a career, and the Mets will honor him at Citi Field this summer.
According to MLB insider Hector Gomez, New York will host a retirement ceremony for Colon on Aug. 26 when the Mets host the Angels, another one of Colon's many former teams.

Colon, who just turned 50 last week, hasn't pitched since 2018 but had been expressing a desire to pitch again in the big leagues at some points, but that opportunity never came, bringing an official end to a 21-year career that began with Cleveland back in 1997.
Colon earned four All-Star selections across his career, including in 2016 with the Mets, when he pitched to a 3.43 ERA. He pitched a total of three seasons with New York, but his shining moment came when he blasted a home run against the Padres in San Diego.
