The Phoenix Suns pulled off a blockbuster trade late Wednesday night (or early Thursday morning on the East Coast), as they reportedly acquired Kevin Durant and TJ Warren from the Brooklyn Nets for Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, four first-round picks and a 2028 pick swap. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski first reported the full details of the trade.
With Kyrie Irving traded to the Mavericks and Durant to the Suns, Ben Simmons is now without both of his superstar teammates (now ex-teammates) in Brooklyn and Twitter—particularly Sixers' Twitter—is having themselves a field day.
The Nets have also reportedly spoken to teams about Simmons regarding a possible trade, but he doesn't have much value, according to reports.
Remember when Ben Simmons leaked to the media that the Sixers weren't big enough for him and Embiid and he wanted to be the face of a franchise? Really happy for him today. Go get 'em, slugger.

The trade represents a further power shift in the league, as the Nets have now shipped their two stars out of Brooklyn and to the Western Conference.
Meanwhile, Simmons is now in Brooklyn, a team in transition after being believed to be a perennial contender when Simmons first arrived.
