Igor Shesterkin didn't get the win in game four, as the Lightning tied the Eastern Conference Final at two games apiece, but he did make some NHL history in the losing effort.
Shesterkin made 27 saves on Tuesday night, and early on in the game, he reached 600 saves in this postseason run, which made him the quickest goalie to that mark in a playoff run in the last 66 years.
It took Shesterkin 18 playoff games to reach that mark, one game ahead of the pace of Tuukka Rask in 2013, Jean-Sebastian Giguere in 2003, Olie Kolzig in 1998, and three others.
Shesterkin had a rough start to the postseason, getting benched in back-to-back games in Pittsburgh in the first round, but has been playing like his Hart and Vezina Trophy finalist self of late. He stopped 49 shots in game three, and hasn't allowed more than three goals in a game since game four against Pittsburgh.
