The Giants have yet another skill player to add to the list of injuries that have decimated the offense this season.
According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, wide receiver Sterling Shepard is “expected to miss some time” due to a quad strain suffered in Monday night’s loss to the Chiefs.
Shepard joins the list of key offensive injuries that includes both Saquon Barkley and Kenny Golladay, who have each missed three straight games, and Kadarius Toney, who battled an ankle injury and now a thumb injury that had him in and out of Monday’s loss.
Per Raanan, Shepard’s injury will likely keep him out at least through the bye week, which is next weekend after New York takes on the Raiders this coming Sunday.

Shepard, who has already missed time with two other leg injuries this season, will add to New York’s combined 25 missed games by its Week 1 starters, which is the most in the NFL. Shepard has 32 catches and 324 receiving yards to go along with one touchdown on the season.
