The Knicks picked up one of their biggest wins of the season on Friday night, taking down the Cavaliers in Cleveland, without Julius Randle, in what could be a first round playoff preview.

It wasn’t all smiles for New York though, at least during the game, when teammates RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin had to be separated by head coach Tom Thibodeau during a timeout.

Early in the third quarter, Toppin and Barrett were seemingly having a heated exchange before Barrett shot up from his seat to get in the face of Toppin, who moved in to meet Barrett before Thibodeau stepped in between to break things up before it got out of hand.

Whatever the two were arguing about, it was seemingly put to bed quickly, as they were seen talking with each other on the floor coming out of that timeout, and seemingly burying the hatchet before getting back to work.

After the win, the two unsurprisingly didn’t comment on what led to the altercation, but stressed that the two were on good terms and had moved on.

“We good,” Barrett said, via Fred Katz of The Athletic. “We see each other basically every day. You tell me that you haven’t had an argument with a family member before, you know what I’m saying? You had an argument with a family member before. That was all it was. Right after the timeout, we squashed it.”
