With rumors surfacing that the Panthers could be looking to move Robby Anderson, the wide receiver is reportedly interested in a Jets reunion.
According to the Daily News’ D.J. Bien-Aime, if Anderson is indeed to be moved, his preferred destination would be to return to New York, where he spent the first four seasons of his NFL career.

“He feels like he has unfinished business in New York,” Bien-Aime said. “And likes Zach Wilson’s talent.”
Anderson, a New Jersey native, went undrafted before signing with the Jets, and logged 3,059 receiving yards with 20 touchdowns in 62 games with the team. He signed a two-year, $20 million deal with the Panthers in a move that Jets general manager Joe Douglas said he regrets, wishing he had done more to keep Anderson, who has since signed an extension with Carolina, but is now reportedly a trade candidate.
Anderson had a disappointing season with Sam Darnold reunited as a teammate, logging 519 receiving yards with five touchdowns in a full 17 games of work. The year before, he compiled 1,096 receiving yards.
