Elijah Moore was back at Jets practice on Wednesday, practicing new handshakes with teammates and having talks with head coach Robert Saleh as he prepares to play on Sunday against the Patriots.

As for his reported trade request? Saleh says all he knows is that things have been smoothed over, and Moore is ready to get to work.

“We've had talks, he's good," Saleh said before Wednesday’s practice. “We're all good and he's gonna go out and do what does and see if we can get him the ball and make a few plays.

"He's not quitting on anybody. He's not out there dogging it, out there sitting on his helmet. He's not skipping and holding out and faking injuries. He's not doing any of that, he just wants to contribute. The question of whether he's locked in in meetings and doing what he needs to do in practice, that's not in question to me. He's going to be fine.”

Saleh says he doesn’t know if Moore still wants to be traded, and that he didn’t ask the disgruntled receiver about it, but says the sophomore receiver is committed to the Jets.

“Yeah he is,” Saleh said. “It's hard to explain. I don't think he's, you know when you talk to him, and again these are discussions you can have with him, he's been fine. Is there a frustration? Was there frustration? Is there frustration? There probably still is in terms of what he wants his production to be from a ball production standpoint.”
