Tuesday night was overall much quieter than Sunday and Monday, when widespread looting was reported. Most traffic was halted below 96th Street Tuesday night and the NYPD was out in force with the 8 p.m. curfew in effect.
Thousands protested again Tuesday over the death of George Floyd while in the custody of Minneapolis police.
