Ron Olson and Karen Perrin start your day on 104.5 The River!
Ron Olson, a 25 year veteran of morning radio and Memphis Native. Ron graduated from Oakhaven High School, and Memphis State University. Ron has earned a reputation as a prankster with stunts like the “Great Pumpkin Drop”, “Motley Crue Reading Room” and “One Day Legalized Gambling in Memphis”. Ron Olson and Karen Perrin were morning hosts at sister station FM 100 for over 12 years together. Ron joined 104.5 The River in January 2018 and creates art on the side @ronolsondj.
Karen Perrin is back with her partner in crime Ron Olson on The River! Karen is a Memphis girl, University of Alabama grad and mom to two pretty great boys. She's spent years waking up Mid-Southerners on morning radio and is enjoying being paired with Ron Olson once again. While much of her free time is spent on social media, she is an avid fan of Alabama football #RollTide, University of Memphis sports #GoTigersGo and the Memphis Grizzlies #GrizzNation!
